My art serves as an exploration of my thoughts; whatever is on my mind at the time is what appears on the paper. Just as thoughts are often a delicate, scrambled fusion of abstraction and realism, so too is my work. The themes are not necessarily easily identified, and I don’t necessarily want them to be. I’d like for the viewer to create his or her own story with the tools I’ve provided. Were I to label my artwork with a blanket theme, I would say that it deals with subjectivity and change, as this have been increasingly prevalent in my life. I’ve found that the the deeper you look, the less objectivity and consistency you find.
